Adventures for Ordinary Kids

For the record, as I was having breakfast with my family and half listening to their discussion, something they said made me think of the old Hardy Boys series, which all of my boys enjoyed. To my knowledge there aren't any more modern adventure series for boys, especially where characters aren't "cool dudes" rather they are just plain, adventurous boys!

Real vs. Cool Kids

All I can say is if any of you have an idea of writing such a series, Mama Bear Productions would be delighted to be a platform for you to sell it! For that matter I'd love to see a series for girls - One that also doesn't espouse what I call the "Cool Dude Syndrome".

Kids These Days!

Now I'm sure that many of you are thinking to yourselves 'Yeah, right. But that's who kids have become!" Well, without a doubt there are plenty like that, but certainly not all. For example, neither Jolene's kids nor mine are like that, nor are any of their friends. Add to that, I think it's our job to re-educate kids, offer better solutions and take back what we've allowed our children, and ourselves, to lose. I can picture it on now, kids dreaming on a cool autumn's night or a long summer's day - on bravery, courage, adventure and the works!
