Recently I was speaking to a friend, who happens to be a fairly well known children’s book author and writing teacher. We were discussing the fact that while children’s musicians have embraced Mama Bear Productions, there seems to be some resistance from children’s book authors. I got some interesting advice.

Up and Coming

As home schooling mothers, both Jolene and I know how difficult it can be to get kids writing. So Mama Bear Productions is gearing up to sponsor a writing contest for children. Recognizing that most 9 year olds do not have the same writing ability as 16 year olds (except for sometimes), there will different age categories. And what would a contest be without prizes? Plus, the top 10 stories will be offered for sale and the winning story will be featured on Mama Bear Productions website, so stay tuned…
