Kindle 3, Hard Lessons and an Artistic Aside

Amazon has recently released its new lighter, thinner Kindle 3 , which was great news to us! For those of you who have been living in a cave, or folks (like us) who are very slow to jump on the bandwagon of newfangled gadgetry, the Kindle 3 is a device with which you can read books in electronic format. There are a few notable advantages to reading books this way. For one thing, the new Kindle 3 can hold twice as much as before, or up to 4 gigabytes - that's approximately 3,500 books! - saving a whole lot of shelf space. Improved battery capacity means that you can read e-books for up to a month between recharges. Don't Lose the Lesson

Hi There, Nancy Carey Johnson of Mama Bear Productions here. Recently a friend had their heart broken due to the fact they'd submitted what they thought was good, solid, material for "consideration". Sadly, it was in essence stomped on. That's a hard place to be. An Artistic Aside...

Hi there, Nancy Carey Johnson of Mama Bear Productions here. You may have noticed that often when I write I don’t include art/illustrators. It’s not that I have anything against art, in fact I LOVE it, especially children’s book art – that’s the truth. I’ve always loved beautiful shopping bags and Children’s book art.
