Badge of Honor?

Not long ago, I asked a dear friend and aspiring children's book author why she hadn't yet gotten her manuscripts copyrighted. She said to me "I know it's a badge of honor to have a drawer full of rejection letters from publishing companies, but I just don't know if I can take that rejection."

To begin with, she can take rejection. I happen to know her well and she's tougher than that. Second of all (and this is the IMPORTANT part), she doesn't have to start a "Badge of Honor" drawer, not when she can submit things to Mama Bear Productions and have them up for sale immediately.

Any Guarantees?

Can I guarantee that people are going to buy her books? Nope. But what I can say is she doesn't have to save drawer space for those badges, unless she wants to. I don't know about you, but drawer space is way to precious in my house for such things!

Get Your Work Out There

It's my opinion that it's much better to work smarter than to work harder and being able to have your finished children's book or Children's music up for sale as soon as it's ready is a whole lot smarter than waiting for months just to receive one of those 'badges'.

You Don't have to Wait to be Published!

And consider this. By having your work where it can be seen, there's a possibility that you could be discovered and be signed to the contract of your dreams. So forget trying to make drawer space, just submit your children's books and children's music to Mama Bear Productions and have it easily available to the world - without all those pesky badges.
