My story: 

I was born and raised in upstate NY and was temporarily displaced in MA for the first portion of my adult life.  Now I've moved my husband and daughter to NY and we are happily enjoying the area, our family, and the activities in the area.  I love not having to drive the MassPike all the time anymore!

My work
What I do all day: 

My profession is in Environmental Health & Safety.  That means keeping people safe and keeping the environment clean.  I believe in proper stewardship of our environment... using it wisely and taking care of it.  I also believe that no one gets paid enough to sacrifice their health and wellness to the cause of their JOB.  Everyone has family and friends who are counting on them coming home at the end of the day in the same condition that they went to work in.  I'm a Certified Industrial Hygienist and a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager.   I work for Shaw Environmental & Infrastructure and am assigned to work at the Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory in Niskayuna, NY.
